Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Move Jar (the "app"), made by No Big Apps, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What the app is

Move Jar lets you set your own point values for everyday movement, log what you do, and fill a weekly jar towards a reward you choose. It is intended for general wellbeing and motivation only. Points, prices, jar sizes and suggestions are a game you set the rules for; they are not a measure of fitness, health or calories.

Not medical advice

Move Jar is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Move descriptions are general information. If you have a health condition, are pregnant, are recovering from an injury, or are unsure whether a move is safe for you, check with a qualified professional before trying it. Stop if anything hurts, and move within your own limits.

Full access and payment

Move Jar is free to download and use, with limits: up to 15 moves on your list at a time, 3 of them your own, logged on the day you do them. Full access is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that lifts those limits and adds CSV export. It is not a subscription and does not renew.

The price is shown in the app before you confirm. Payment is handled by Apple and charged to your Apple ID; we never see your payment details. You can restore a previous purchase from Settings in the app. Refunds are handled by Apple: see Apple's refund page.

Your content

Your moves, prices, rewards and log are stored on your iPhone. You keep full ownership of anything you enter, and we do not access, read, or transmit it.

The app does send anonymous usage events (that something happened, never what you wrote) to Firebase Analytics. Our Privacy Policy lists exactly what is and is not sent.

Intellectual property

All content, design, artwork and code in Move Jar are the property of the developer, apart from third-party components used under their own licences. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the app without permission.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Move Jar is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any injury or damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including from any physical activity you choose to do.

App Store terms

The app is distributed through the App Store, so Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies to your use of the app. Where these terms and Apple's standard EULA differ, the terms more protective of you apply.

Changes to these terms

We may modify these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms, which will carry a new date at the top.
